Let’s talk about public transport
I often get feedback from locals about local public transport and I've had many, many discussions with Translink over the years trying to get bus services into new housing estates, and better connectivity between buses and trains.
50c fares have made catching public transport more appealing and I'm keen to hear what else we should be working on. Please help me build the case for change by filling in my public transport survey.
PS: If you catch the train from Burpengary, don't forget to sign my petition for more parking while you're here! And if you catch the train from Narangba, stay tuned for an update on the $6m parking expansion - the new Transport Minister has told me he's good for it... He just won't say when.

I'm proud to have delivered an accesibility upgrade at Burpengary Station!
And I previously secured money for a park 'n' ride business case.
With thousands of new homes being built around Burpengary, we have an opportunity now to get the incentives right for new commuters to catch the train. More parking at Burpengary Station could mean less cars on the road, better environmental outcomes, and more time with family and friends when you’re not stuck in traffic.
Burpengary Train Station needs more parking

UPDATE: Thanks to overwhelming support from communities across Queensland, kids aged 5 - 17 can Play On! with funding to continue our $200 sports vouchers included in the State Budget - a great win for people power!
